April 16 - Happy Easter

I am terrible at keeping this up now! I am the Net controller in the mornings until we leave in 2 weeks, so by the time I have finished looking up the weather and tides, and talking on the radio, I ma done with the computer . However in the last week, the winds have been wild and no-one is going anywhere.
We had a last happy hour on Andante before they left o go back to Arizona. We have been travelling the island so I can get stuff pre-arranged for next year's Regatta. We have been doing long walks every day on the beaches and snorkeling.
Today is Easter Sunday so we were going to try having dinner with Blue Heavens. It is too rough for anyone to move and neither of us want to cook or eat when the boat is rolling. Hopefully we will be able to do it tomorrow.
Here are some photos of the last few days.
Sometimes I get bored

Somebody ate this before it opened...made a cool pattern

More dolphins

Here is the video Rick took yesterday. In this one you can hear the dolphins clicking and whistling. It's so cool!!   I'm sure it's because they liked the music.  They stayed around the boat until it turned off.  The little one kept surfacing and looking at me watching him but of course this camera doesn't click fast enough to catch him. I did manage to get some fins and a tail flip!!

Tail flip!

Rick is the slow one

April first week

Yesterday Rick made the shelf and I worked on an art project. Today, same, same..cold and cloudy again today. But the wind is making power!! YAY! We watched the local kids sailing their dinghies for awhile. He went over to take pictures but when he got there Dallas asked him to run a couple of kids back to shore, so no pics this time. Going to make chilli for supper and clean up. Have a good one!

So about 4:30 we were heading up to the front deck to sit in the sun, when a pod of dolphins came by and invite Rick to go swimming. So he did. They swam around the boat about 6 times . I'm sure they like rock 'n roll because our stereo was playing, Boston, the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac and the soundtracks from Rock of Ages, and Burlesque very loudly. They have good taste! He was in the water for about 45 minutes. this video[assuming I can get it to post] is from the last time he was swimming with his friends.

Newest hobby

Lovely little piece of brain coral

I wrecked it! Lol

New shelf storage

Approaching storm yesterday ...passed us...only some rain to wash the decks

Gotta stop collecting!

April 1 Weekend.

Friday, Jeanne Jeffries and I went to the Exuma Foundation to present the cheque from the Cruising Regatta, to Chris Kettel. Then yesterday, we took the cheque to the Exuma Sailing Club and presented to Reg Smith and the junior sailors. {They remember Quentin!}

After that Rick and I took the boat outside to clean the head in the deep water. On the way back we stopped at Fowl Cay to swim, beach-comb, snorkel and then we put up the spinnaker and drifted back into the anchorage. It was a great lazy day.

Today we are going to take down the t-shirts stand, hangout with Amazing Grace and then go to play Trivia with Jeanne and Gordon. Another day in paradise.
